Fibreglass relining procedure:
- Pool water is drained (Optional storage bladders)
- Remove any debris and do a chemical wash
- Repair any defects and fit any optional extras
- Cut dove tail groove under coping to facilitate securing of the lining
- Screed ceramic mosaics to assure grip
- Hand laminate 450g/m² chopped strand mat at a ratio of 3 to 1 isopthalic resin to mat
- Apply fibreglass motif around merimeter and steps coated in clear isopthalic flo coat
- Sand entire pool to enable correct application of an isopthalic (chemically resistant) flo coat. Apply flo coat at a ratio of 500g/m²
- You now have a solid, highly durable one piece shell that is really aesthetically pleasing.
